Inside

This sculpture portrays the difference between what people perceive your inner self to be, and your true inner self, which remains unknown to the observer. The mirror and glass shards take the form of a face to represent other people’s thoughts reflecting on you, forming a projection of your perceived inner self. In contrast, the delicate origami flowers and foliage growing from the backside of the head symbolize the unknown beauty and radiance of your true inner self.
